Mutt Strut 2016 – Los Angeles Area
The Sixth Annual California Council of the Blind 2K/5K Los Angeles area run/walk Mutt Strut will be holding its 2016 annual event on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Crescenta Valley Park, La Crescenta, California.
In addition to the run/walk, we will be having a dog costume contest.
Snacks, coffee and water will be available before and after the run/walk for all participants and volunteers.
Vendors, entertainment, and the raffle will conclude the event.
We invite all runners/walkers to bring their service animals or pet dogs with them as long as they are on leashes and under control at all times; however, you need not have a dog in order to participate.
We look forward to seeing all of you at the Mutt Strut on Saturday, November 19, 2016 for a lot of fun including a great raffle, and, of course, the 2K/5K run/walk. This is also a great opportunity to assist the California Council of the Blind in its annual fundraiser to help serve persons who are blind and visually impaired in California.

Crescenta Valley Park, 3901 Dunsmore Avenue at Honolulu near the dog park, La Crescenta, CA.
Transportation will be available by Access Para Transit for those persons qualified to use it, by automobile, or by fixed route public transportation.
Crescenta Valley Community Regional Park is nestled in a green, tree-filled valley providing community access to a beautiful natural area of native California flora and fauna. People who frequent the park call it a “hidden jewel” in the CrescentaValley. Enjoy the many different paths of the run/walk within this landscape.
Schedule:
Registration will begin at 8 a.m. with the run / walk starting at 9 a.m.

Adults: $30
Students (ages 13-18): $15
Children (ages 6-12): $10
Virtual Walker with shipping cost*: $36
Virtual Walker without shipping cost**: $30
Registration after 10/31
Adults: $40

Virtual Walker without shipping cost**: $40
All dogs and children 5 years and under and would like to strut are free
Registrants at the event will receive a "Wag Bag" filled with goodies and a Mutt Strut T-shirt
*This registration option is for those who wish to participate as a virtual walker because they cannot make it to the day of event. This registration includes the Mutt Strut T-shirt and Wag Bag that will be shipped to you.
**This option DOES NOT include shipping of the 2016 Mutt Strut T-shirt and Wag Bag. If you want to receive these items at the April Convention, YOU MUST CONTACT US by 11/25, or you may opt out if you do not want to receive these items.
